TORO EVOLUTION

The TORO kayak has been an excellent boat and has been very popular on world kayaking scene for two years. Alexander Grimm won his gold medal at the OG in Beijing and there were 5 other kayakers paddling the TORO among the top eleven kayakers. The TORO took also the fantastic silver medal in the K1W category thanks to Jacqui Lawrence. Italian kayaker Andrea Romeo took the gold medal on Europian Championship U23. As we intended to further improve the quality of this kayak we collected suggestions for improvements of the TORO during 2008. It took roughly half of year to bring all the developments together before we took courage to introduce to the world our new product the TORO EVOLUTION. It was our goal keep the advantages of the TORO and to add something progressive…. At the first look everybody will notice the nesting of the rear of the cockpit-rim into the deck by 18mm. This modification allows greater room for the movement of paddler when leaning backward. Further changes were made to both the hull and the deck. The result is higher stability of the boat, lower rising up of the front end during the acceleration, greater turning and better dynamics of the boat when leaving the upstream gate. TORO EVO is always cut down exactly according to the weight of the paddler.
